SHED STYLE SHOPPING GUIDE

The following are examples of our base shed styles.  This guide will help you determine the general  shape and layout that suits your needs and desires. All sheds can be customized to your specifications. We are available by phone, chat or email to answer any questions, however the best way to get a quote is to click on book your shed and choose your shed size and options.  A member of our design team will call you within 24 business hours to discuss your shed features, placement of doors, windows, and options, if any, and provide you with a quote. 

THE EL DORADO

The El Dorado Shed is a versatile gable style shed with the main entry door on the end or gable side of the roof line and windows located on one or both sides of the entrance. The El Dorado is usually chosen when
front facing windows and a single entry door is preferred. This model is great for a cottage, office, ADU, craft room, man cave or just about any extension of your home. Depending on the size of your shed you may wish to add additional doors. You can also add additional windows to the side, back, or above the main entrance. The main door can be offset if desired. Standard roof pitch (shown) is 5/12, however this shed can also be customized with an 8/12 pitch classic gable roof or lower pitch 2/12, 3/12 or 4/12 to meet HOA requirements.

THE NEVADA

The Nevada Shed is a gable style shed similar to the El Dorado with the main entry door on the end or gable side of the roof line but the windows are located on the sides. The Nevada is usually chosen when
side facing windows and/or double entry or rollup doors are preferred. This model is often used for a workshop, garage or storing ride on equipment. Depending on the size of your shed, you may wish to add additional doors. You can also add additional windows to the side, back, or above the main entrance. The main door can be offset if desired. Standard roof pitch (shown) is 5/12, however this shed can also be customized with an 8/12 pitch classic gable roof.

Placer Ranch Style Shed

THE PLACER

The Placer Shed is a popular A- frame design with the entry door/s on the low wall side wall running parallel with the roof ridge. Ranches work well for providing privacy from neighbors , partial porch configurations and when front facing windows are desired.

Add high walls and transom windows above the front facing doors and windows to give this shed a modern look and lots of natural light.

THE SACRAMENTO

The Sacramento Shed is Lean-to style with the main entry door on the tallest wall on the longest side of the shed. Windows can be located on the end walls or flanking the main entry door. Depending on the size of your shed you may wish to add additional doors or additional windows to your shed. Add transom windows to the entry door and above the front windows and doors to give this shed a modern studio look. Extend the roof overhang to 12 inches for a more dramatic modern look.

THE YOLO

The Yolo Shed is Lean-to style shed with the main entry door on the shortest wall on the longest side of the shed. Windows can be located on the end walls or flanking the main entry door. Depending on the size of your shed you may wish to add additional doors or additional windows to your shed.

THE YUBA

The Yuba is a popular gambrel style shed, also called barn style shed. Gambrel sheds combine traditional styling with generous overhead storage space. The roof on a gambrel shed has two slopes on each side of the ridge with a steeper, lower slope, providing extra headroom.
